We firmly hold the view that the Israeli colonial and apartheid regime bears full responsibility for the tragic loss of innocent lives, perpetuated through years of state-sponsored terrorism and the systematic denial of basic human rights to the Palestinian population. Our commitment is to raise awareness and rally support for those suffering in Gaza today and those who have endured hardship long before the latest conflict began. In these trying times, we call upon you to join us in disseminating the unvarnished truth. It is our collective duty to distinguish reality in Gaza from the falsehoods that circulate. We urge everyone to aid us in combatting the spread of misinformation and to hold the media accountable. Regrettably, certain media outlets have been reporting incorrect information in recent days, despite clear debunking and evidence of its falsehood.
Moreover, these same outlets have a history of neglecting the plight of the Palestinian people over the past seven decades, choosing to disregard the ongoing violations of international law by Israeli occupation forces, which have resulted in the loss of innocent lives all over Gaza and the West Bank.
Two days ago, the world witnessed one of the most despicable crimes in recent history as Israel bombed Gaza's largest hospital, an act that demands our collective condemnation. It is crucial for us to shed light on Israel's continuous record of heinous war crimes, a subject the media often overlooks. As Malcolm X once said, "If you're not careful, the newspapers will have you hating the people who are being oppressed and loving the people who are doing the oppressing."
Let us unite in our mission to rectify this injustice and ensure that the truth prevails. Let our voices be heard.
